What a shame. Metlife Dental Sucks!!!! In my coverage table, it shows that my crown was covered. When I did it, they refused to pay what they should pay, instead they explain that for molar, they only pay cheapest silver filling and crown which most dentists no longer offered. There is a small note (last sentence on the coverage website) mentioning a little bit something, which nobody will notice and understand, even for dentists. They played tricks and they are liars. Shame on Metlife Dental..

Nightmare, trying to get a pre-treatment estimate for 6 Mo. on a serious problem. I repeatedly attempted to contact them, rare if you get some one and then it goes no where. My Dentist has submitted the papers twice, I sent 3 faxes they claimed they never received any. It’s like these people have a license to steal your money. Good idea to let the judge settle this..

Horrible claims and customer service. Had a crown put on a molar for a cracked tooth which was denied b/c there wasn't enough tooth loss. I thought the purpose of the crown was to prevent that. Metlife's policy is you should be in pain for a subjective, unknown period before they will cover this. .

These people look for any thing to delay or decline your claims. I paid in full for the dental work and they were to reimburse me. Now they don't know when they are going to pay because they only pay in phases for certain things. So I am out a $2000 on top of the insurance premiums. .

My Dentist can't even get them to pay claims. I try to get through on my own, but can't break through their circular automated message system. They apparently have my birthday entered incorrectly so I can't even get an automated message about my claims. There is no option to speak to a live person. It's really disgusting!.

Absolute garbage insurance!!! Don't want to pay for anything. You will spend more out of pocket for the year than if you went the year without dental insurance. With deductible, cost of insurance, and what they didn't cover, I spent $700. Without insurance I would of spent less than $600. STAY AWAY!!!.
